Q3 for Prominent Turnkey Provider
As many online casino companies have recently reported significant third quarter
results, Playtech was simply not to be outdone. Across the board Playtech has
announced increased growth, and in some areas the company even topped previous
revenue growth records. New licenses and pending deals are the cornerstone of
the company’s stellar third quarter report. Playtech has taken the U.S. online
casinos ban in stride and shown a remarkable ability to adapt and expand in new
markets in an exceedingly small period of time.
The Asian licensees are an area that showed significant growth and great
potential for continued growth next quarter. As Asia begins to grow its small
online casinos market, Playtech is there offering turnkey solutions and targeted
gaming options. The Q3 report highlighted that revenues from Playtech’s current
Asian licensees is up 14 percent over Q2 of this year.
And beyond just the expansion of online casino turnkey services in new emerging
markets, the expansion of the company’s internet poker services attributed to
outstanding Q3 results. Playtech added the established and well-branded Bet365
to the Playtech iPoker Network. This addition added significant additional value
to the company’s online casinos poker network.
The CEO at the online casinos turnkey provider, Mor Weizer, remarked "The
Company continues to focus on adding successful and high profile licensees, such
as Bet365, and also on growing its market share in Europe and Asia.” He also
noted that Playtech “expect[s] to see further growth and [is] confident of
meeting…expectations for 2007 and beyond."
